Brief Overview Guar meal is a by-product of guar seed processing. It is a complete nutritional feed, it contains a high protein (40-50%), carbohydrate, nutrient, and fiber with high digestibility. Guar meal is commonly used as a protein source for livestock including the fishery industry. Manufacturing Process Guar meal is obtained from Guar seeds processing. The seeds are separated mechanically into gum splits, raw protein, and hull. The separated guar meal is treated at a high temperature to remove the trypsin inhibitor.
