Manufacturing Process
Ferric sulfate is generally prepared by treating iron (II) sulfate with boiling concentrated sulfuric acid, or by evaporating a mixture of iron (III) oxide and sulfuric acid. The solution obtained thus contains a mixture of iron (III) sulfate and iron (III) chloride.
